THE DISCOVERY OF THE TREASURE

José Ramón is passionate about the wines of his homeland, Rioja. One day, he looked for a special place to share with his customers and discovered a true treasure: a traditional winery from 1881 that had been closed for 30 years. Although this “time capsule” had suffered deterioration over the years, José and his wife, Josune, decided to restore it and open it to the public. Now people from all over the world can enjoy a unique wine tourism experience: discover the origin, the treasure of Rioja wines.

THE RESTORATION

José Ramón and Yosune have respected the history, materials and traditions, keeping the essence of this old winery that produces carbonic maceration wines. They have kept the original elements of the winery, such as its vats, its barrels, its press or its subterranean passageways, allowing it to be more functional, creating an exclusive and authentic space.
